MobileRobots Autonomous Navigation Systems built in the factory
Our systems are easily extensible with additional sensors, arms, defensive sprays and other effectors. Communication may take place over standard IEEE  80211a/b/g wireless Ethernet, using a simple text command interface.

  • Mapping buildings
  • Localization within mapped buildings, accurate to +/-2cm, +/-10 degrees; micro-precision possible with additional sensors
  • Navigation within mapped buildings, point to point, while avoiding obstacles
  • Ability to link to obstacle avoidance sensors (sonar, additional lasers, etc.)
  • Named destinations (x,y, theta) within the map
  • Defined forbidden areas in the map
  • Dynamically changeable destinations, wirelessly, from control software
  • Ability to update the map, its destinations, forbidden areas, etc., in minutes
  • Status messages (e.g., "goal reached")
  • Monitors power and initiates docking behaviors for automatic recharging
