obstacle detection and avoidance through secondary processing of
MobileRanger™-based data

Cobra
The
Cobra EBX-12 Computer from Versalogic is a hardened EBX form-factor PC
with PC/104+ expandibility. The CPU is a 1.8 GHz Intel Pentium M
processor, and I/O includes dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 USB 2.0
ports, 4 serial ports, digital I/O, and more. The standard
configuration includes 512 MB RAM (1 GB on Seekur-based platforms).
The
computer comes with a power supply and either solid state flash or hard
disk storage. Debian Linux or Windows Embedded is installed along with
all drivers and software packages installed and configured. The
computer, power supply, disk, cabling, OS and software are all installed
and tested in the robot before shipping.
The Cobra is the embedded computer option for the following bases:
Phoenix
The Phoenix ATX-G is a full-size (ATX) embedded computer, hardened for rugged use. Expandability is provided via PCI and ISA slots, as well as I/O ports including 10/100 Mb Ethernet, 2 serial, 6 USB 2.0, and 1 parallel. The computer comes with a power supply and hard disk. The computer, power supply, disk, and all necessary cabling are installed and tested in the robot before shipping.
The Phoenix is the embedded computer option for the PowerBot
