2D+3D SLAM / VSLAM & Perception System

The SLAM/VSLAM Package features twin lasers and stereo vision sensor, an onboard computer for analysis.  With gyroscopically-corrected odometry, these platforms serve as an ideal base for research involving vision-based SLAM and VSLAM algorithms. (Also available with twin lasers only for 3D SLAM algorithm development, or as a single laser-stereovision system with Pioneer DX.)

 

Manipulation, Vision and Grasping PackagesPerception and grasping research robot

Robots from MobileRobots can be configured with vision, arms, grippers and manipulators for a wide variety of detection, perception, grasping and manipulation tasks. VSLAM Mapping & Perception Research Systems

VSLAM research configuration with MobileRanger stereo vision on Pioneer 3-ATA VSLAM system can be as simple as one fixed camera on an AmigoBot, for classroom work with Open Source libraries or as sophisticated as a Research GuiaBot with stereovision, which includes both range-finding and image data. VSLAM Mapping & Perception Research is compatible with any MobileRobots base. BW and Color Stereovision systems available with any robot except AmigoBot.
