Outdoor
autonomy out-of-the-box is the latest barrier-breaking option for
MobileRobots intelligent platforms. Users of MobileRobots Outdoor Guidance
System (mOGS) begin by
mapping obstacles and GPS coordinates in a 2D grid. Then you can
send your robots anywhere within the map; watch them path-plan and
dynamically avoid laser-level obstacles as they travel to their goals.
The mOGS display GUI lets you demo
and test quickly. mOGS is a downwardly compatible upgrade to
MobileRobots Advanced Robotics Interface for Applications (ARIA) and
includes the Advanced Robotics Navigation and Localization (ARNL) for
indoor mapping and guidance.
mOGS
is available in
two basic flavors: Seekur and P-Series. The Standard Seekur Version of
mOGS includes: 2m GPS, Premium embedded Inertial Measurement System,
MobileRobots Laser Mapping & Navigation package plus mOGS
software. The Standard P-Series Version, for P3-AT, PowerBot and
PatrolBot, includes: 2m GPS, Premium Embedded Gyroscope, MobileRobots
Laser Mapping & Navigation package plus mOGS software. Premium 1m
and 20cm resolution GPS options are also available for either version.
At least one
PC is
required for each platform using mOGS. |
